Description: Water Buffalo and hunting waterbuffalo has been an important part of Arnhemland Aboriginal life since the 1950’s. This bark is in great condition and a lovely example of a unique way to depict these huge animals. Many aboriginals were employed to hunt buffalo so it is not suprising to see it depicted in their art.
